SATURDAY – 19 August 2017

KENT SURF GURU SAYS: A south westerly swell is running up the channel this weekend so it will provide a wave across the bay and will wrap in. On top of this, you also have a small North West swell coming in too. So what does this mean for Viking? well, it means at mid-tide you should find a fun wave breaking on the sand bars and you should also see some waves opposite the car park as the tide drops and pushes in. Nothing big and nothing special today but you may find a wave.

Sea Temperature 18 C
Wave Height 1 FT
Wave Interval 6 Seconds
Swell Direction South West
Wind Direction West North West / West South West
Surf Quality Slightly offshore
Air Temperature 20 C
